We started mid year with FOC for my daughter. Her previous school was not benefitting her the way I thought it should. My daughter immediately connected with her teacher and completely flourished in this environment! The staff is amazing and truly made us feel like family. All the gatherings and lifting each other up is the best sight to see! Thank you Freedom of Choice for making this the best experience for us. 

I am so happy about my son's success. Without you guys I don’t believe he would be where he is, I’m so blessed to be able to send him to a school like the one you and Dan have built. I am so thankful for Ms. Yennis as well and her helping Henry continue to grow this summer! 

We love the Freedom of Choice Student Center Homeschool. It’s a great alternative for parents that want their child out of the public school system. I Homeschooled my son and found he didn’t want to go to learning centers where it’s “a la carte” for subjects that I had trouble teaching him like math and science. ILA has great classes, but it wasn’t a good fit for him. This school was what he was looking for. No, I’m not Homeschooling him any longer. But with shorter days and Fridays off, that’s when we do extracurricular classes, like working on a farm. The owners of this school are wonderful people that went out of their way to open a school that many of us were looking for.

Best school ever!

I love that everyone has a smile on their face in the morning and afternoon every day. It has been such a positive experience for my son. He looks forward to coming to school each day and I consider that a huge win!

I’ve seen a significant change and improvement in phoebes desire and enjoyment of learning as well as an improvement in her critical thinking and communication skills. 

My son is enjoying Mr Shereiza and the team at Freedom of Choice. We as parents are happy to see he is thriving, having fun and learning.

My son is getting an amazing amount of attention. He absolutely loves the school. He is really benefiting from the small class size. He has always been in classes of more than 20 kids. In those groups there were loud and quiet kids and everything in between. Thomas was not comfortable speaking in class and would sometimes avoid being involved in answering questions etc. His confidence is building and he is full of questions and discussions when we talk. I think his growth has been substantial. The amount of time seems right, as he is always excited about school even if he is tired he is still wanting to get to school.   

I can't explain how exciting the first day of school was for us.  We are definitely feeling blessed.  I hope Brooklyn felt good and comfortable at her new school and went home feeling happy.

These are a dedicated group of people trying to do good for our state's and country's students. As a fellow counselor, I highly recommend them. 

He is learning so quickly. When he started, he recognized 1 letter and 1 number (C and 3, for his name and age). Now he is close to having full alphabet and number recognition in 3 months!! 

Kathy and Dan haver done a wonderful job wht their new creative space in Vista! If I were a child stepping into their school for the first time, I would be thrilled to be there.  Adversity brings blessings and miracles to what is possible and I think both Kathy and Dan are demonstrating this.

 So far, we are happy our son has a safe happy environment and a chance to catch up and have thoughtful conversations with peers and freedom loving adults.
